If you answered YES to any of these questions and are looking to get in the best shape of your life then Maine Boot Camp is for you.

Maine Boot Camp combines cardiovascular and strength training exercises in a regimented 4 week camp. All classes are 60 minutes and campers have the choice of committing to a 3, 4, or 5 day per week program. All camps are complete with fitness testing to measure your progress, personal attention and accountability, plus access to phenomenal nutritional advice from a registered nutritionist! Maine Boot Camp focuses on developing your muscular strength, stamina, and overall aerobic conditioning so if you are training for a triathlon, 5K, or just want to keep up with your kids this is the program for you. Individual workouts may include body weight exercises such as push-ups, crunches, squats, lunges, and partner-assisted exercises combined with cardiovascular moves which are all designed to create muscle definition while maximizing your caloric and fat burn. The difference that will be FELT by you, will be SEEN by others!!

PROGRAM DETAILS

  • All camps are 4 weeks in duration and campers have the choice of 3, 4, or 5 days/week - YOU choose the days that fit your schedule for camp!
  • The program is run primarily OUTDOORS (with the exception of heavy rain, snow, or ice and then it is moved indoors)
  • Each class consists of a warm up, pre-stretch, WORK OUT, and cool down. Once we get going there are NO SCHEDULED BREAKS! If you need to take a breather, then do so and join back in as soon as you can!
  • Our workouts change constantly, so you AND your body will never know what to expect. We find this maximizes results and decreases your body's ability to adapt to a predicable exercise routine.
  • Every Wednesday is 'CARDIO' day. It is our one predictable day of the week focusing solely on developing aerobic efficiency through interval training. Cardio days cater to walkers, first-time runners, as well as marathoners. You will find yourself getting into shape, running faster and further, while boosting your metabolism and burning tons of calories. Cardio days are comprised of a mix of interval training, tempo runs, hills, stairs, and cardio drills that will make you sweat in a way you didn't think possible. Most Maine Boot Campers LOVE to hate cardio days!

"Almost one year ago, I began MBC as a very unfit person. I was overweight. I could not run a mile without stopping. I could only work at the low impact version of every exercise. It would have been very easy for me to quit.
