What You Need To Know About Maine Boot Camp

maine boot camp

What to expect?

New campers are primarily concerned about 1 of 2 things: Is this program going to be challenging enough for me OR is this program going to be TOO challenging for me? As we have reassured the hundreds of campers that have come before you this program is designed for ALL fitness levels, ages, and experience levels. Our trainers are highly effective at pushing YOU to work to your potential which means that you get the best workout possible regardless of your starting fitness level!

What makes us different and how do we help you get results?

At Maine Boot Camp, all of our instructors utilize the same fundamental training principles:

  1. VARIETY IS THE KEY TO SEEING RESULTS. The majority of people who work out on their own either don’t have enough time, creativity, or knowledge to change up their workouts so they end up doing the same exercise routine over and over again with limited results. How often do you work out at the gym and the next day your muscles have already forgotten about it? At Maine Boot Camp, our goal is for your muscles to tell you for DAYS afterward that they have been worked in a way that they never have before. We accomplish this by constantly changing our workouts to create muscle confusion and maximum effort on your part.
  2. YOU WILL WORK HARDER IN A GROUP THEN YOU EVER WILL ON YOUR OWN. Enough said. For any of you, who have participated in a team activity or sport in your life you should know exactly what we are talking about here. This isn’t about competing with the person next to you but about being motivated by them toughing it out which makes it hard for you not to do the same. We are not above peer pressure at Maine Boot Camp and frankly we hope that every camper feels the pressure to perform to THEIR highest level knowing that everyone else is doing the same.
  3. IT IS OFTEN TIMES HARDER DECIDING WHAT TO DO TO WORKOUT THEN IT IS ACTUALLY GETTING IT DONE. In terms of the obstacles that stand in the way of getting into a regular fitness routine, deciding what to do for a work out, when to do, how long to do it for, etc. is often time more taxing for people then doing the workout itself. Committing to Maine Boot Camp means that we will take care of all of the planning for you – all you have to do is show up, what could be easier?!?!
  4. ACCOUNTABILITY!!!!! Unlike a gym membership, where they cash your check every month but couldn’t care a less if you actually show up or not, at Maine Boot Camp we ask for you to be 100% committed prior to registering for our program because you will be held accountable to honor your commitment for the duration of the camp!! We want for you to succeed and will do everything we can to help make that happen.
  5. IF PEOPLE FIND EXERCISE FUN, THEY WILL DO IT MORE OFTEN. Despite the fact that this is a serious program that gets serious results, we also like to have a lot of fun. We accomplish this with our workout creativity, building team camaraderie, and by not taking ourselves too seriously. Having fun is an important part of Maine Boot Camp and we strive to accomplish this without losing the impact or intensity of our workouts.
