Almost one year ago, I began MABC as a very unfit
person. I was overweight. I could not run a mile without
stopping. I could only work at the low impact version of every
exercise. It would have been very easy for me to quit.
But Casey created an environment where I felt it was okay to be the
slowest person. I never felt intimidated or ashamed of what I
could (or couldn’t) do. Seeing women working at all different
fitness levels made me feel that it was okay to just work at my
fitness level and move forward from where I was at that moment.
And little by little I did improve and move forward. Almost
a year later…..I have lost 60 pounds and a lot of inches. I
actually look forward to getting up and sweating each morning now
and miss it when I can’t. I have gone from an unfit person that
could not run a full mile to a 40-something woman that just
completed her first triathlon! I have worked very hard to get to
where I am today, but I could not have gotten here without the
support of Casey and all of the ladies at MABC.
It was that
feeling of acceptance and support in those beginning months of
MABC that helped to start me on this path to fitness. For this one
person, Casey has truly helped me to change my life for the
better and for that I will be forever grateful.

I can sum up my boot camp experience as one of the single best thing I’ve ever done for myself. As an exercise addict and avid runner (prior to children), I can easily say these work outs were more mentally and physically challenging then anything I had ever done before. Casey was a great motivator, she’s creative and fun. Having now participated in 3 consecutive camps, I can say that I was never bored and always sore (in a good way) almost every day. Exercising in group like this was great in providing the subtle, but added benefit of some “friendly competition”. I am a lot stronger, more flexible and have much better balance then I did 4 months ago. I have learned so much from Casey about exercising efficiently, core strength and stretching appropriately. These were incredible work outs that far exceeded my expectations time after time. I can say it would be only the most dedicated individuals that could recreate the experience on their own, and I would also be hard pressed to find a better personal trainer. I would recommend Boot Camp to anyone looking to improve their health and well-being.

Casey’s classes are wonderful because every day is different. She takes into account the various physical levels and limitations of her students and offers low impact versions if they need it. The group atmosphere is great and extremely motivational. Everyone works their hardest without judging how the person next to them is doing. I have taken numerous aerobic and strength training classes at my local gym but nothing comes close to the quality workout you will get from Casey. You will see results with Casey.

It's nice to see my waist again. I've dropped 2 pant sizes, and my cholesterol
has dropped. it's fun to exercise with a group of women, it's a great way to
start the day. Casey really knows how to organize a great work out! I've been
doing this since Sept. and no two days have been the same!!

Maine Adventure Boot Camp is simply the best! I particularly like the variety of activities and the sense of fun
that is built into the program. I really feel like I am getting the maximum benefit out of each workout
and it makes getting out of bed early in the morning totally worth it. Casey is an energetic and creative
instructor who draws on her extensive education and background to give everyone in the group the best possible
workout day after day. I highly recommend the program to anyone wanting to improve their lives and overall
fitness level.

I have never enjoyed working out so much in my life and I'm an exerciseaholic!! If you like to get your butt kicked and have fun at the same time, Boot Camp is a great way to start your day! I absolutely love the variety, the sessions are different everyday all the while working all the major muscle groups and some of those smaller ones you never even knew you had. Casey's knowledge of the body and her vast collection of exercises ensures that everyone can work to their individual capacity without hurting themselves. If you need an alternative activity to accommodate an injury or limitation she's always got an option for you. Her creativity and enthusiasm is so inspirational and motivating. The camaraderie with the other women is awesome, dare I say a highlight of my social life! I always feel so great after Boot Camp, I start my day with a smile on my face knowing that I've given myself a very healthy and energizing treat before facing the world!

Casey's Boot Camp has been a terrific experience - far better than I ever expected. Everyone in our group look forward to class and no one ever arrived late! We loved the mix of outdoor and indoor training, even when we were snow-shoeing, in the dark morning hours, in 9 degree weather! Every class was unique and butt-kicking. Although we worked as a group, we were able to keep our own pace and not worry about what every one else was doing. The comraderie of the group also keeps you going! Casey is very aware and intuitive of what will work for each individual, as well as the entire group. Her medical background is also a huge asset and increased our confidence that we were in good hands. Unfortunately, all other workout classes and personal training will pale after a stint with Casey.... I highly recommend this physical & emotional adventure.

My Maine Boot Camp experience has been unbelievable as well as
unforgettable! I never thought I would LIKE it but I do. Casey is so
supportive and creative in her training....we never did the same thing
twice. While my level of fitness was the worst of the group and I was
worried about slowing everyone down, it never seemed to get in the way of
what Casey had us doing, as each individual goes at her own pace!

Casey can kick butt like no other. I love a great a workout and this one is worth getting up for! Casey is a great motivator and incorporates her vast experience into a truly unique workout every time. No day is the same. The group experience is great and everyone is at their own level.
